Martha Kristiansen, an elderly Inuit woman, carrying grass that she has collected which will be used as insulation in traditional seal skin kamiks (boots). She had the reputation of being very skilled at both driving dog sleds and hunting. Siorapaluk, Robertson Fiord, Avanersuaq, Thule, Northwest Greenland. (1977)
