RY.2611-02: Igor Salinder,a Nenets reindeer herder, places a pale reindeer skin on the ground close to the herd. The pale skin attract warble flies which he then kills when they land on the fur. Warble flies are a major parasite of reindeer. Gyda, Tazovsky region, Yamal, Siberia, Russia
